Start of a small texture pack

So, was bored this weekend so i threw toghter a few textures. Im planning to put togheter a small texture pack and so far ive been experimenting with what direction to take it in. All theese textures took around an hour to do each (diffuse/norm/spec) and im leaning towards doing a pack themed around the first texture here.

So uh, im looking to recive ideas for colors (really booring palette atm) and just general critisism or ideas. This is more a practice to get my texturing speed up and improve my normal map workflow than anything else so some of the diffuse textures will be a bit flawed.

Edit: Here are three new walls, shapes somewhat inspired by art nouveau and that kinda stuff.
Getting pretty tired of this brown now and i think ill carry theese shapes over into another color palette aswell, something a bit more refreshing and if i use theese for something i think ill build some low res geometry for the door thing and the pilar, or it would look a bit odd from the side. Think the top trim on theese might be a bit too big.. Still gotta make some buddys for that first wall i did (the one below theese set).

One thing is certain, after this pack is done im going to do something totally different from the gritty, retro scifi stuff :P
They are mostly (some of the most recent ones are a mixture of photo/hand) hand painted by the way, done too much photosourcing recently so i had to do some hand painting again :P

Hand painted? I'm very impressed!
These would fit great in an Unreal Tournament map. :P

What brushes did you use for this?

Thanks
Jarnuaga: I didnt use alot of brushes.. a wacom and 4 brushes (might have used a few others here and there if i felt that it needed some grunge).. 2 basic round brushes, one with pen pressure set to size and one with pen pressure set to opacity and 2 custom brushes, one for the edge work which is a pretty standard brush but with a bit of scattering and a round brush with scattered points that i used to apply dirt here and there, it works pretty much like the default round brush with pen pressure set to opacity only it has a bit more scattering around the edges.

Really nice work decs!
Great use of lightning. It really makes them look like they are 3dimentional.
The colour scheme is pretty interesting as well. The decoration and style makes me think of some sort of futuristic worn down circus or something. I like it.

Realy impressive stuff. Colors look fine imo, since they all send out the same mood.
Can you tell us a little more about your workflow. stuff like :do you actualy make the walls in max or do you use the nvidia filter, are those textures we see all on a flat surface, or a simplified model of the texture, etc.

either way, looking top notch!

impressive !

I love the retro scifi look, kinda reminds me to bioshock ! Very inspiring (I was damn lazy the last 2 weeks, maybe I can now get my ass up to do something...).

btw.: Are those 1024*1024 texture maps ?
