The model looks solid so far, the only critique I have for that is about the hoses. I think it would look better if you helped give them the illusion of having some sort of weight...what I mean by that is, make them hang a little. Hmm....not sure if that explains it, the lower part of the house should be a larger loop...aargh I dont think that explains it either, if you dont understand I can do a paintover to explain it.

Also about the texture, I think you should rework the bump/normal map. In the reference picture you posted the metal is really smooth, but in your texture it reads as stone. I would add a slight metal texture to the bump/normal, if anything. Mainly focus on the diffuse and specular for the metal....at least that's what I would do. The main thing though, is that your bump is too strong and doesnt read as metal to me. If you need help with metal textures go to sourceblog.net and read some of their tutes on metal, very basic and easy to follow. Might help ya out.

I'll tell you a little secret... it hasn't got bumpmap :P , all of texture is diffuse, at the moment i'm not using spc/bump .

Sorry, but I don't understand the part of the hoses. At the moment the English is a paint in the neck (<== I remember that this in an expression I think). So if you can make a little paint...

Thanks. I post my diffuse. I'm going to make it more smooth as you said:

EDIT: Congratulations to you for become a GameArtist Staff !

I agree with Retard, your metal looks like stone. Also the hose thing i think he means:

Right now your hose from the side looks like this (ignore the ------)
---------//
-------//
------||
------||
------||
-------\\
---------\\
Gravity would cause it to look kinda like this
--------||
-------//
------//
-----//
---//
---||
----\\

Sorry kinda messy

I am guessing you haven't worked on the gray parts yet?

Yeah Mr. Cow has got it right...make it feel like gravity is pulling on the hose. That would of been a much easier way of saying it...but my brain wasn't working at lunch time cuz my mouth and nose were full of paint dust from work....yeah thats a good excuse

Hmm I woulda sworn there was a bump map or something on there Oh and thankyou

Ok, I'll reamake the hoses as you said in the 'picture' . But I remember that if you change the polys you must remake since 0 the unwrap no? This is the problem because unwrap is the worst part for me.

And, I'm going to change texture too. Thank you guys.

No, the UV coordinates should stay with the model even if you alter it. Sometimes they may need a little tweaking afterwards, but usually not a lot (depending on how much you alter the model).

I think you should put all those bumps on a normal map instead of the diffuse map.

Yeah you'll be fine just moving around some edges, I find it doesnt affect the uv map to much. At the most I just have to move some of the edges in the uv map as well. What really messes me up tho is cutting in details or something that totally changes the geometry. But you should be fine with just moving aruond the edges, also "connect" usually doesnt mess anything up for me...I mean if you are really worried, just make a duplicate of the model, or save the existing uv's.
