Looking great, I also prefer the one with the tire, it gives it character. I think the more ingenious usage of car parts the better.
The only thing that I would say is that it seems like the battery would eventually slide and fall off with one strap on it rendering it powerless. So I would add more straps and maybe have a clamp/trim below and above it so 'sits' in place securely. Or perhaps position it at the bottom with the pole sticking into it, which will also spread the weight more evenly and balance it out better.

I'm getting back to this again, and after much torment I finally know how to bake clean hard surface normal maps! This had tons of sharp angles and was really tough for me.

I think this is a really impressive low poly and bake job!
Plugged. Cheerio.

Awesome model. I like it w/o the tire. The tire would add a decent amount of weight, and I have a hard time believing that the blades would stay in when spinning and making contact w something. Rubber rips and tears when compromised. I like the weight idea you came up with. Really balances it out well. As far as the bake goes, you used nearly all the UV space, but you have lots of broken uv shells that looks like they could have been mirrored. That is going to kill you during texturing. Little late for that, unless you want to re-arrange all that stuff. Up to you
