Student Project
Hi out there! I found this cool forum a few days ago, and I realy enjoy it.
May be I should introduce myself first...so ladys and gents, my name is Dennis, I'm 26 yaers old, living in Kaiserslautern/Germany and studying Virtual Design in 4. Semestre. After learning some basics, I decided to make my own project with a group of 3 guys. Maybe I can post some concept arts or renderings of it. But first i have just a few questions about Game Design., and I hope you'll answer me this, without telling me " use the search" , because I used it enough ![]() So here are the questions: 1.How many Polys should a Level have (It should be a Level like Gothic or Risen may be a lil bit smaller) I just found some information about PS2 Games..but in times of Quad-Core it should have changed I think? 2.How many Polys should have a human character (maybe with clothes,weapons,Items and without all that) 3.How many Polys schould have other things in a game..like enemies,animals,houses.. I know you can't tell me the exsactly numbers of Polys, but perhaps you can tell me how many Polys a current Game Character, or the other things have in the games,came out in the last 2 years. I'd be very thankful, because i would have a standart i can work with!! TNX @ all! ![]() |
