Spider-Man
Im working on a spiderman model in my lunch time at work.
I will model high res completely in zbrush and game res mesh from retopo of the high res. i will use maya to uv unwrap and texture with zbrush and photoshop. I have always really liked todd mcfarlanes art style and design of spidey so im going in that direction. Crit away. Oh and i realise the ab area is a bit funny i need to develop more of an 8 pack where the middle section of the ribs are. |

Heres an update on my zbrush sculpt.

Thanks mate. Ill have a look at why im having that problem.
Does anyone know How i can get the images to appear at full size in the thread?? Probably a really stupid question, but ive tried and cant find another way to upload images. Is there an alternate way other then attachments?? Thanks for any help in advance. |

3 things stand out straigth away.
He looks a little scary at this stage. 1. His face kind of reminds me of the green goblin from the movies, rather than spiderman. 2. His hands are too big and skeleton / zombie looking. 3. the calf muscles?? look too big and wide. Hope this helps a little. |

1. Really i cant see it. I am going for a darker look to spiderman. but it maybe because his face is still a bit too skinny like a skeleton. 2. I agree hands need work. 3. Im going for a bit of an exagerated comic book style, but maybe its too much. Cheers! |
