Watchmen's Rorschach WIP

Hi guys, trying to make a pretty low poly mesh in 3ds and detail it in Zbrush while learning the program. My first organic character in a year besides a few very basic heads before that so this should be very big learning experience. Please C/C.

Looking pretty good so far. I'd widen the shoulders a bit, and narrow the area around the belt a bit, and make it kind of bulge out, but not too much. Make use of all those loops.

The plan is to take it in Zbrush for a while learn the program and make it really detailed, and then bring it back to 3ds for the other small details like buttons, a scene maybe IDK and rendering. Perhaps then I can take those details back into Zb with my new-found knowledge of the program, but right now my goal is just a simplistic but still enough detail to give me a challenge in Max then learn ZB.

The belt looks too high and the arms look too short.

My bad on the small(er) image but I'm done with the base mesh, I think.

I'm following these references, I will change them though.

Hey Xkobe, nice model you got there
But you got some small in accuracies on the model, the way the front of the jacket folds 2getter is wrong, the shoulders are a bit to rounded and the length of the arms, legs and jacket seem to be off.

Added a photo to make things a bit more easy

*hm looks like I'm to late with help*

Look at the knee and elbow areas. They need a few more loops for deformation reasons.

You're not late Cijz, thanks a lot for the paintover. Belt and proportions might still be off I'll look again tomorrow with a fresh eye but I think I fixed them.

Added a loop for the knees and elbows but I'm not sure if that's enough..If there aren't any large faults I will begin sculpting tomorrow. Please C/C and thanks for the replies

Oh I have a question.. I have no idea how the workflow is supposed to be so say I wanted to pose him, would I do that before I go into Zbrush and then sculpt while he's in the pose (so the wrinkles and folds on the clothes/accessories can be made correctly?) or finish it first then go into texturing/posing?

Been playing around for the last few days trying to learn Zbrush. I think I've learned the basics and I'll begin properly sculpting the whole thing tomorrow. This was my latest result for my not-really-thinking about why the folds are happening and the pose etc just practicing to see how I will make what I need tomorrow.

The shoe is a little rough but I think the right pant leg is tolerable, what do you guys think?
