one thing i notice between your blockout and the concept you have is that the columns/supports in the concept seem to have a bit more meat to them. Their width seems to be a bit larger. otherwise things are looking good.

Just wanted to show where I currently am at. Got the columns resized. Thanks turtlepaste, they did look off. I am working on the parts that change the image the most first. The overhead bars aren't done. Worked on those first, but in the process got quite a bit better so I am going to rework them.

Hi All,

Here is where I am at on this project. Things have been busy the last few weeks so I haven't gotten to work on this as much as I would like Moving to a cheaper place so I can spend more time on my portfolio. Crit is always much appreciated. Things I need to finish the highpoly render of:

Walkway (single repeating tile for most of it besides stairs)
Pipes and base along wall
Short support beam (going to halve the longer support beam)
Remodel the arches (not happy with them, they were the first part I worked on)
Docking clamps for the ships
Cargo on the docks
Ships(will be worked on after the spaceport is fully completed with textures)

Thanks for your feedback in advance!

Looking good but you should bring that screen on the right wall out a little bit more for it to make sense...great work

Here are my final UDK renders. Pretty much finished with this project now. There are a few more things I could do. But I am ready to move on to the next piece.

Having said that, I would still like to know if there is anything you guys think would help improve it. There is some mirroring issues. But for the most part I am pleased. This was my first environment, first time using normals, specs, and UDK.

It looks good, but feels half done because of all the blank space. I think you should at least comp in a star field or some kind of space skybox so there isn't just a black hole.
