Nah, I think I'd keep it. Having something on his head that fits the style of his costume helps tie the whole thing together. Although perhaps model it as a separate element in the low poly or something? So you can take it on or off.
Colddeath: You're not really going to get this sort of detail out of modo. Modo isn't a dedicated sculpting tool and it can't really keep up with 3DCoat/ZBrush/Mudbox. |

Great piece of work! Incredible detail!
I like how you made him look. He has armor that makes him look like his battle hardened and has earned his special gear by doing this job like a pro . Also like the way he looks angry, with his nose muscles tightening like he is really angry at something and is ready to kill santa if he should get in his way.A minor detail I noticed that would definetly finish it is the hair. It looks plastic when its just...popping out of his bold, smooth skull. I would give him a little detail like he has shaven the rest of. That would totally finish it. Again, awesome work with amazing detail! |
