very nice drawing mate! good shading, particularly on teh head and shoulder. The front most bit (end of the hand) could have been drawn maybe with a compass but oh well it looks great. are you going to draw the whole body?

concept for a cyborg character for modeling/visualisation class. planning on adding a helmet so only the face is showing so i wont have to deal with hair :P
i dont want to start modeling until i am statisfied with the concept tho. so crits are very welcome.

Well then, I'd like to start by saying that I'm really no concept artist and only had a few weeks of practice starting out from 0.. so please don't go too hard on me here, but, still, any feedback appreciated

We got an assignment recently where we had to do a concept (T-pose) for a character we're to create, and then bring into UT3, this is as far as I've gotten currently, also started sculpting out a muscular guy in ZBrush, which I can work on further once the concept is done. Only got the ront view so far, the side one's to come.

About the ugly writing etc, ye, I got a pretty ugly handwriting, but bear in mind I also did this thing with a mouse yo, no wacom

Well it looks like a pretty good start. But as you probably know it's far from finished. It needs much more detailing, shadow and light definition. Other then that good start for a noobie

Here is a WIP of a little practice piece. I'm trying hard to sharpen up my drawing skills, as I see many job descriptions that requires some drawing experince/skills.

still a long way to go for this one.
