Ah you should have taken your time, I love the face and the background but the body makes him look like the toothpick he was before the 300 workout, hehehe.

RazorB, very cool work! great linework and a solid design. Can't wait to see it coloured.

Hey,
Its ok, worth what you get. It is only its second year with this program so I can see it getting better every year. Seems really unorganized sometimes. We do have a few teachers from AI, either teaching at both or hated AI to teach here. We don't have any grad shows or anything. Basically the program needs to be longer, more in depth and more organized. Most of us feel this way there if not all. BUT, everyone that I have been friends with who finished has gotten a job in the right away. Nice Drawing by the way!

i aint so good.. but just paint paint paint :O best way to improve is practice.. but if ur talking about certain things like character design then study anatomy.. environments u should study perspective and lighting :O tho all of them can fall in together its just my 2 cents :O

@sampson: Look for Andrew Loomis' books online (you can legally download them for free), especially 'Figure Drawing For All It's Worth', 'Successful Drawing', and 'The Eye Of The Painter'.
Here's my first concept drawing with my new Graphire 6x8: ![]() Crits welcome, bearing in mind it's still early WIP and the shading is just for form, not actual light+shadows. |

hey nak.. I had a few minutes for a quick paintover... try and keep your early sketched really loose, especially with digital. there's so much room for trial and error
haha, I noticed I lost the dog ears.. he seemed more reptillian to me. remember, stay loose and have fun with it![]() |
