I did this in about 4-5 hours or so.
It was a rought digital painting for Unreal 3 map I am making. More of an inspiration piece. I am very happy with it and its the best i've done yet. Any comments would be appreciated. ![]()

Good piece alexG, Almost perfect. The water and the backgroundsky could use some moar love.
And the thing where the person is standing has too much light coming from unknown direction. |

Decent stuff but they're pretty generic looking (aside from the first one). Maybe try messing with ideas and take inspiration from modern day weaponry and you'll come up with some cool twists on realistic-but-futuristic weaponry. You might get a lot more interest then.
Check out Earthquake's stuff for ideas on what I mean. |
