love the face and hair RazorB. The only thing i would change is the glove, it looks very skeletal at the fingers. It gives it more of horror gothic feel while the rest of the character is futuristic sci-fi

@Snipergen: without even reading the text it looked like an Aperture test subject.
@Razorb: I think the skeletal feel of the cyborg arm works nicely as a contrasting element, IMO I would make it more apparent from silhouette to help differentiate from other characters. The boots don't make sense though, there's no points of articulation so she'd have to walk around all peg-legged, kind of like "foot coffins". The vest is also a little visually confusing, it appears to be a sort of quilted fabric yet has a lot of high-frequency folds in places you might not expect to see them (between and above the breasts). The garment seems to be bunched up at the armpit. From what I've learned (I'm a noob so keep some salt handy for this), the basic rule of thumb for well-fitting clothes on a female torso is the folds tend to originate from the center of the breast (most protruding points), and fall outward and downward. I've been told: "Try to envision how gravity pulls the cloth over the form" And a quick paintover to help illustrate: ![]() (hope I'm not overstepping with all that : ) |

nah ur totally right dude never been good with wrinkles and drapery ! should get some refs ... but as far as the boots are concerned ya that was me being lazy.. would take 2 seconds to fix just need to draw a line around the ankle area n such so its separated into 2 parts. ;o but most of it there was just me trying to get an idea for when i model her ya see wasnt caring too much about functionality hehe
and paintovers are fine fine fine dude, its nice that u took the time to do it i aint no concept artist so yea ! everything helps ![]() aaand dunno why im posting this ;o 45 mins worth of nothing .. anyways here u are ![]() |
