Ssv Princeton Sr-3
OK guys time for a new project.
For the up coming release of Mass Effect 2. I'm going to make a Normandy style spaceship. Name: SSV PRINCETON SR-3 Description: During the construction of the SSV NORMANDY, plan were already underway on the construction of the SSV PRINCETON. The Alliance Navy wanted a attack cruiser using the same technology as the NORMANDY. Using the engine and stealth technologies of the NORMANDY, the PRINCETON constructed during the middle of the Mass Effect 1 events and was completed after the events of Mass Effect 2. the long construction period was due to the fact that ship yard facilities were being attacked by mysterious alien species known as the collectors. The PRINCETON finally completed before the events of Mass Effect 3 and entered into full service in the Alliance Navy. Although there is no permanent commander of the PRINCETON, many high officials in the navy have recommended Commander Shepard. ![]() |

nice clean silouettes, you have the right idea with your execution ...
I'd suggest a lot more variation of your concepts. Vary the front, mid-section and rear of the fuselage. Is the command section at the rear like the Normandy? Or midships or maybe even at the nose? The wings on your thumbs all currently point downward like the original Normandy. Try shortening the wings, and/or point them upward ... think of more outrageous combinations. That's when you'll find something magical m8. I see you included reference photos of jets - try borrowing their overall proportions and silouette - one is quite triangular at it's midsection, the other quite flat and rectangular. |

I liked the rounded wing front better, it looked ace.
Maybe think about adding more engines, or at least bigger looking ones compared to normandy. Also, the tail looks a bit meh just going straight up, think about doing a flying V style as you would see on the F35. As for the panel lines, I think it could help thinking a bit about the functionality. Where does the engines get refueled, how does the crew maintain all the dids and doodads that makes this thing fly, when the ship is in harbour? |

3D Representation
Here is a 3D representation of my concept to better understand where I'm going with this.
This is not the actual mesh I'm going to model with. Do you like what you see? ![]() |

Nice work so far, however I think that the cannons at the front look a little too small, as I mistook them for either decoration or radio transmitters. Otherwise I look forward to seeing more.
