WIP: Goliath Gargoyle

Hey all,

Just wanted to share with you guys this model I have been working on .

Any crits welcomed

You should add the bone structure of the wings on top as models, and make the wings a single plane. It will look better in the end, and probably save you some polys, but more importantly save you texture space. Unless you really want the inside of the wings to be a different texture. His boobs also look a bit too big, and the tail would be thinner near the end I think? Same for the cloth around the waist, make it a single plane.

Yeah i tried modeling the bone structure before but used way to many polies .. So all the bones will be textured in. I agree with the single sided wing and cloth thanks for that Oh and yeah .. he does need some toning down in the chest area doesn't he

The body is nice, you should definitly give those wings a little bit more detail and to see an animation of that would be pretty cool

Okay time for an update







Any crits welcomed . Wings are now single planed when it comes ot the webbing between the bones.

Really well done
Poly Flow seem fine , model is very similar to Goliath
only thing i would add is another edge loop in the wing for deformation purpose
i'll add an image ASAP
Maybe not the best topology ever but more anatomic imo, Will Deform better when animated
If possible try to keep the same count of joint in your wing bone.

Thanks for that Daedalus, I adjusted the wings and moved his legs to a more natural pose. Any crits welcomed.
