Small update on texturing, hoping to have the diffuse finished by tomorrow night so I have some time to practice doing specular maps before its due for turn in. I have also noticed that I need to go back over my model and do some very minor touch ups, least of which is the normal smoothing again.
Enjoying the learning process of this assignment a lot more than I expected. As before, C&C welcome. |

I'm not a character artist, so I can't say much. I did take a figure drawing class once though, so I at least learned a bit about proportions, and your dude needs some longer legs methinks. Sorry to be the one to tell you this so late in the process. Modifying the model + UVs shouldn't be too bad, but adding the texture would be a pain. :\

Hey Pants, thanks for the input. I do think a lot of it is the camera perspective though, while I did check his proportions a couple of times from charts before I began, I may have stuffed up some where along the line.
This character is not going to be used on anything and I did my turn in yesterday so it is too late to bother changing it at this stage, but I will be a little more vigilant next time around. Anyway I have attached my submission file. |
