Left 4 Dead Campaign - Team Braindead
Hi everyone, I started with a team (Team Braindead) on a left 4 dead campaign right after the SDK was released, and I'd like to show you some progress and ask feedback. Keep in mind this is all still very WIP.
We don't have a name yet for the campaign, but that's nothing to start with anyway. We will use alot of custom content, including particle effects and sounds. At this stage we have everything planned out and 2 mappers including myself are working hard on it. Enjoy some screens! (That some obviously are mirror's edge inspired, although I used some ref from the hospital I got pictures from and they use the same approach like in ME colour wise, pretty neat) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Like i said earlier, looking very good there. Some scenes do tend to look like ME a bit, but there's enough other things going that make it clear it's not just an ME-style remake. Interesting to see how the clean rooms still have allot of detail and interesting stuff going on. Definitely something you should keep doing.

One thing i want to mention: All of the other user made maps (that I have played) for l4d have some pretty weak crescendo events and usually don't have many items spawn randomly. Your map looks well thought out so I bet it is going to play as well as it looks. Just thought I would mention that.
