I’d round off the shoulder rests in the front more by pull the middle (from the side) edge loop up and forward a bit. Just to give it a more smoothed appearance, and take better advantage of the edge loop.
You may want to float the handle grips, possibly adding a thin connection to the base, to give them more a joystick look. This could improve deformation, and cut some excess polygons where it’s attached now, but only if you plan on animating this in a character’s hands. And if you wanted to get really anal about it, you could take out the middle edge loops (on both sides) between the canisters and the centerpiece on the top strap around 12 triangles. Overall, real clean mesh, looking forward to where to take the materials. Also, if any of the things I mentioned didn't make sense, I can makes some image examples. |

When i first saw your jetpack i had the feeling there was something odd, but I couldn't realy figure out what...
Took me some time, but i think that the sholder parts are to far from eachother. Take a lok at this image: http://projects.edtech.sandi.net/bro...mages/body.gif The handles would be in his ribs, or just below i think...Doens't has to be a big change i think, just place them a little closer (or the handles a little wider)... Overal good job, nice and clean. Looking forward to see a texture.. |
