Oh man i didn't even notice that. Well the craziness at work is over, and i just finished the Space Marine and put him in game (torque) with animations and a bolter. Here is a shot of him in show tool pro. I'll have to get better shots soon. The materials are set up so i can just change a few colors and logos to make higher ranking Marines or different armies. I'm using a raven guard skin right now and i'm working on finish the blood ravens and putting the last tweaks on the template.

It's for my class project, we are doing a small space marine vs chaos marine multi player game in the torque game engine. Some guy on poly count already warned of a cease and desist, but it's a school project and i've already checked their legal. So i'm good.

Any how the textures are not 100 percent yet, hopefully soon though. can see the skulls are not all the way done and all that. The next thing it to take this model, since i have the base animations done and modify it and re texture it to look like a chaos marine. Which shouldn't be that hard. I am fairly happy with it, i'd like to spend more time but deadlines don't allow it. haha.

In the quest to finish both armies and make a small map by February 20th. I've been hacking away at the space marine and making it more chaos like. I've done a first pass and i'm getting weird alpha issues on the fur area up top. If anyone knows what to do to fix this, that would be great.

Still much a WIP, but C and C is always welcome.

Weird alpha issues? Is it a sorting problem? You can fix this by adding SORT:: to the beginning of your object name when exporting to Torque.

Hope that fixes your problem,
Aaron.

Oh, is that not just on the texture? make sure it's all black outside white mask, might have a 1px border or something.
