[help] 3ds max splineIK solver problem

Hey guys, I'm hoping one of you can help me out. I've run into a problem I cant seem to figure out on my own. Its for my university project, so any help is greatly appriciated.

Current setup/rig:
As you can see here I've made a set of tracks using the splineIK instead of the usual and ugly pathdefom modifier.
I've then linked each track link to a bone. I've used a wire parameter to control the percentage along the path (its bound to the main body of the robot I'm making).

The problem:
When I want to turn the robot (rotate it) this happens:

The bones are twisting as you can see, thus making the track sections twist as well.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Oh my friggin' god. My luck is just the best/worst.

I've been struggeling with this problem for a week (been doing other stuff too though, hehe).
As soon as I post here I figure it out. Geeez.

The problem came from using a tutorial that didnt create the tracks for the same purpose as me. In that tutorial they said to delete the control points and modifier after creating the splineIK... What I needed to do was link those helper points to the main body of my robot as well.

I've been through the most obscure things and two nights worth of dirty fixes.. :P oh well.

Sorry for the new thread hehe
