Problems With 3ds Max 9

Ok well i hit a key combination to hide the modeling tools (move cursor, rotate cursor, scale cursor) i am limited to what i can move where so i really need some help on how to fix this, i know its a CTRL + () [() = Next key], i've been trying for the past hour to get it back to normal can someone help me

try [Customize] - [Load Custom UI Sheme] - DefaultUI.ui
or [Customize] - [Revert to Startup Layout]

Well its like this i cant do that because i dont know the hotkey i just know what it did

Try hitting X.
Not ctrl+x, just x.

Cause if i understood what you said you are looking for the hotkey to enable/disable the transform gizmo?

if u prees X key , you will change the mode from normal to constraint mode ,

and if u press + you can increase the length for the local , - to decrease

CTRL + z exits expert mode, which is what you toggled if I understand you.
