Now to you Alpha Map Problem: What is your workflow when creating it? Do you use the CryTIFF Plugin in Photoshop? As far as I know, you should have the Alpha Map in the Diffuse Map as a Channel, but I am not sure though. Also there are a few things when saving it, which you need to take care of. But I am not really experienced in that Section. Somewhere you can choose to save it with Alpha or something like that.
