Xoliul's 3DS Max Viewport Shader

I got a little tired of Unreal's quirks when doing technical stuff, so I started something yesterday night I knew would work.
My edit of Doylle's shader always bothered me as being a hog, loading slow, messy code, hard to edit, ect... So I just started from scratch and based some stuff on his & my shader code, and some stuff from ShaderFX. The first useable version is done after an entire day of work (I never seem to be able to put these things down, more so than 3D even).

Features:
  • Clean, readable code that should be understandable and easy to follow for those wanting to learn
  • 3 lights support
  • All the regular cool stuff like diffuse, spec, gloss, normal and glow maps
  • Correct additive specular calculation (this was wrong in Doylle's)
  • higher glossmap control with offset & range parameters.
  • Alternative Half Lambert shading model, like in TF2
  • Extensive Fresnel effects like rimlight and cubemap reflections. Two types of rimlight, including soft TF2 style and hard fake reflections style. These can really add a lot to you screens.
  • object-space normalmap support, since there aren't many shaders for that.
  • Realtime shadows in Max 2008 & 2009, with soft-shadow blur. Seperate no shadow version for those with Max 9
  • Image Based Lighting with cubemaps, for better ambient conditions
  • Blurry reflections controllable by glossiness map

It's still not complete. Here's a list of what i'm thinking about:
  • Fix Soft Shadow support in Max 2010. Waiting for Autodesk to clarify this to me.
  • add shadowmaps on other UV channel maybe.
  • detail normal / overlay for worldspace normals?
  • maybe bumpoffset/parallax
  • Shader Model 2.0 support? Very maybe, would take a lot of work to trim down....
  • Maybe maybe object-space snow blending like Crysis. I have a shader for this already but it might be overkill to merge that into this one. A separate version perhaps ?

These features I'm mostly not sure about. Shadows and the lighting bug definitely will be fixed/added, but the rest is up for discussion since I rarely use/need those.
Let me know what you'd expect from this!

You're free to use this thing, but if you do something cool with it show it to me please, I like to see how versatile it is!

Cool stuff.

Maybe some fake SSS would be an idea for an additional feature (possibly texture-based, so it can be masked/altered)?

Wow thanks, I've been wanting something that produced visual sex without needing all the skills needed in seting up a render scene and lights
