Xoliul's 3DS Max Viewport Shader
I got a little tired of Unreal's quirks when doing technical stuff, so I started something yesterday night I knew would work.
My edit of Doylle's shader always bothered me as being a hog, loading slow, messy code, hard to edit, ect... So I just started from scratch and based some stuff on his & my shader code, and some stuff from ShaderFX. The first useable version is done after an entire day of work (I never seem to be able to put these things down, more so than 3D even). Features:
It's still not complete. Here's a list of what i'm thinking about:
These features I'm mostly not sure about. Shadows and the lighting bug definitely will be fixed/added, but the rest is up for discussion since I rarely use/need those. Let me know what you'd expect from this! Go Here for more info & examples FAQ, read this first! Downloadlink: version: 1.3 http://laurenscorijn.com//viewportsh...hader_v1.3.rar You're free to use this thing, but if you do something cool with it show it to me please, I like to see how versatile it is!
