You do that in Photoshop, like it is normally done. Create a new layer with your AO, set it to blend mode "multiply" and save. Done!

Btw, the second pic of the Ka-Bar is not working, I think you used caps in the url when you shouldn't have.
Thanks a lot man. You've just gotten on my "People I admire/love" list.
And of course I'll change that, the more, the better right? Haha. But really, its a great shader, it works like a charm. I'm very happy for it.

Oh, yeah I noticed that too a couple of days ago. I just haven't had the chance to edit it.
It'll most likely be the first thing I'll do tomorrow.
If you want to see the ka-bar, then use this link instead.

Again, thanks a lot. +10 in respect and all that, haha.
Have a very nice day!

Yes I know that.
But I need AO to prewiew a buldings with tilling textures
In PS I add dirt in a AO map and textures was better and it doesn't
seem to be tilling.
Cheers and Thanks

Pastor, I'm afraid that's not possible yet. It's a feature I'm planning to add. I'll try to put it in next release.

It's realtime.. So you don't render it through a software renderer such as scanline or mentalray etc.

Load the shader-file up as a DX Material in max and plug in your maps, then assign it to your object in the viewport and it'll automatically be realtime rendered in your viewport.

If you search the support forum for Doylle's viewport shader (should also be a link in his sig) he'll have a short tutorial on how to load and use it. It's the same for both Doylle's and Xoliul's shader.

Hello Xoliul, thanks for this.

I have a question, I have a model I would like to use with your realtime shader.
This model is made of differents pieces each one having their own material in the material editor.

It seems, the first piece where I applied the material is working well with the lights, however the second and third parts seems like ignored by the light....

What m'I doing wrong here ?
