3DS Max (Camera alignment to stills from Jurassic Park)
First of all I will explain what it is being recreated here.
A sound-stage/set from the 1993 film called Jurassic Park... refer to.. Jurassic Park (film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia if you don't know the film. The particular set is of the inside of the Visitors' Center. The specific room is called the 'Rotunda'. Here is a video segment from the movie... http://miriscus.com/archives/jp/visitorscenter.wmv And following that, I have created 10 montages. (click the thumbnails to enlarge) Anyways... heres a render of my work so far. The proportions are pretty good on that area. Not too much to correct as far as I can see, however.. I am running into an issue with the entrance area. The hallways on either side. Long story short, so that I minimize or eliminate my issue with proportions based on guessing by eye.. I would like to be able to align 3D geometry to geometry in an image. That way I can trace the edges in the photo for far more accurate proportions. That's what I need to be able to do. Please contact me on Windows Live/MSN or Skype. MSN = DIFTOW@live.com Skype = DIFTOW or (202) 657-4262 By the way, I am using 3D Studio Max 2008 for this.
