If your using maya2008 you select the object with the uv's you want then shift select the object you want to transfer them to. I cant remember exactly but you go to MESH then either the "Copy mesh attrs" or "transfer attrs" or use both.

why do you want to copy it over? if its the case that you are baking normals - you dont have to as long as you use projection. Just wondering why you want to copy it over in the first place

Hi Apophis3d, if you want to bake the normals, its tno necessary to unwrapp the High Poly Mesh, so you dont need to transfer the UVs.
Does anybody knows how to transfer UVs from a low poly mesh to a high poly mesh in 3ds Max (2009)? Greetz DarkDali |
