Problem peltmapping 3ds max 2013
Hi everybody,
i make one 3d model in 3ds max 2013 and i defined the seams in Unwrap uvw modifier. When i start pelt and when i use the relax tool, the faces are wrong... why? One video of the problem: problem uv map - YouTube Thanks a lot, bye bye. |

I am not an expert at unwrapping character models, but it looks like your pelt seam isn't the best.
Try searching youtube on how people unwrap their characters, and you'll see how they set up the pelt seams. Check this one out: -Intro to Pelt Mapping a Head for texturing - YouTube

Hmm I don't really know what is wrong. Maybe you aren't selecting the seams properly before you pelt them?
