Marmoset spec and glow maps incompatibility?
Hi! I am trying to make a render in marmoset, I have this model with metal parts and little glowing parts, I made the relative maps and saved them in .tga format, I had applied the spec/glow map and the glow map in the right places but they seems to work only alone...I mean at the start it was ok, then when I rotated the model I saw that the glow map seems to appear and disappear when I zoom in or zoom out...
I really don't know why, I thougt that was a problem of sovrapposition so I tryed to paint black color in the spec and gloss maps to ensure the problem, but it still doesn't work as it should be... Someone know what I'm doing wrong? I really don't know what else to say but if there are other information that you need to know about this please tell me . Thanks! |

I don't use marmoset but I did a couple of times. One thing that may help is to check if your video drivers are up to date and if your specs are compatible with the viewer. You would think that a viewer would be light on your computer but it isnt.

Can you post some screenshot please ?
![]() I try to imagine your problem, do you talk about the fact that the glow disappear as you zoom out the object, I mean its intensity/opacity and scale both decrease? |
