Old cash register
Hi together,
At the moment I'am working on the high poly for an old cash register prop. Here is what I've got so far: ![]() I have many reference pictures but this one is the main reference: ![]() My question is now: How can I make all these Ornaments? I know ZBrush a bit but the only way I could imagine to create these ornaments is the projection master. Maybe anyone got any tips or advice on sculpting those ornaments? Thanks very much in advance ![]() Your help is really appreciated! |

Zbrush is a nice idea, however I'd consider modelling them.
Either make your own silhouette, or straighten the ones in your reference picture via Photoshop. After that you can place a plane in front of your reference silhouette, and start modelling with the edge-copy technique*. Then use an extract, and turbosmooth. At least that's how I would do it, since it's more precise than sculpting it. (Remember, these ornaments were probably made via pressure.) * - Select an edge, shift copy, repeat process until silhouette is covered. |
