Baking Shadow Map - Maya

Hello!

When baking shadows to textures, i always get weird black spots and other usual stuff on my texture. Could anyone explain why?

Its UV mapped, i've conformed the normals.. cant think of anything else to try.

Do you have any overlapping UVs? Looks a bit like you have 2 sides of your object mapped and the rest shares the UV space. If this is the case, try deleting the overlapping geometry for the bake.
