Hard to offer advice without knowing what rendering software you're using, but yes, you'll mainly need a material with high specularity and reflections. Remember, for a chrome-ish metal, you'll want really dark diffuse map, with a really bright spec map.

What Polygoblin said if you want to texture the model. For a highpoly render have a look at this: ARTEM VOLCHIK | 3D ARTIST.
Another way is to use a mental ray material preset for metal as a starting point and then tweak it until you get the result you want. It looks like you're using max, there's a lot of mental ray materials ![]()
