Render to texture AO UWV

Hi, I'm trying to render an ambient occlusion map to texture.
I've put an UVW unwrap on my editable poly, placed a skylight, turned on light tracer, opened "render to texture" and set my usual settings that normally work.

My problem is that only PART of the texture is rendered according to my unwrap.
Like this:

and
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15555199/3ds...ompleteMap.png

These are two unrelated files, not linked in any way.
But you can clearly see the line where it starts rendering by something else, perhaps another channel? (There was another UVW on both these files, but I deleted it in the modifier list.), is the same, if you look closely you'll see that the edge has a height difference, and it changes at the same spot.

I read something about saving the unwrap to file, adding a uvw unwrap clear, and then placing a new unwrap in the list and loading in the unwrap data with a new channel, but this only gives me a blank render. (on all channels, even after I delete the new unwrap and the clear)

Please help me out, I'm 2 days from a deadline.

noone bothered to answer because its very difficult to see your problem without the model and existing uvs from the image you provide.

Maybe try to check in the render to texture dialog box your 'use existing channel' checkbox. Maybe you have them mixed up.
