Good textured mesh preview
Hi!
It's a UVmap of a barrel with normal and spec automatically generated by PixPlant. In this 3d preview it looks good, but when i put exactly the same materials in e.g. 3dsMax, then it looks much worse. ![]() ![]() Is there a software that allows to preview a low-poly mesh (textured, with normal/spec maps) in the same good quality+in realtime(without rendering)? PixPlant has very cool 3d preview - it shows our material (diffuse, normal, specular) with good quality and allows to rotate, zoom, etc. (Look at these 2 screens) It will be great if it's possible to achieve that quality of material on our lowpoly mesh in preview... Greetings! |

If you're using Max you should try the Xoliulshader or 3Pointshader

Marmoset Toolbag is great for displaying realtime assets.
