udk material help
made a modular bulidng using 3ds max which is fully unwrapped piece by piece. when i import and assemble in udk and apply a mterial to them all at onve it does weird and strage shadows are cast. heres the image

Do you have a second UV channel?
Also by default the light map resolution is 32x32 pixels, so you cud up that slightly to say 128 or 256 per asset

It seems as if there is some issue with the vertices to me. Did you ever bake an ambient occlusion to the verts in max? If so that info may have been exported along with it.
It also looks as if it's being vertex lit and some of your verts are not receiving light info. Only two things I can think of atm. |
