You should not use the wizard wand that much when selecting uv's
In this case your threshold is set to such a number that it picks everything within a couple of pixels and that is why the other part was selected as well. Use the polygonal lasso tool to select your uv's |

Yes but that is so complicated to do since it never selects right. As in the lasso tool doesn't select the full shape of the uv your trying to get, it selects some of the uv it'self which doesn't make sence nor does the shape you select look perfect..

If you got a selection you can always expand it or contract it if this helps. Also did you bake an alpha channel out? you can use this for your selection if you have. |

This way you can click where your next selection point will be. Nothing difficult about it. |

Okay im getting a little bit annoyed at your attitude here.
You want help that even a beginner can figure out him/herself. We give you the answer to your question and yet you don't even take it into consideration or even think about how it works. If you want to keep doing things your way be my guest but in that case do not make a thread about it. The selection method is being used by almost everyone. Magic Wand tool can be useful sometimes but often is not accurate. Last edited by Dennispls; 16-06-2009 at 02:34 AM. |
