I want to dive into using a Tablet as I can draw and paint traditionally quite well and I am hoping it will translate for photoshop work as well. But my stumbling point is that this is a hobby and I am currently unemployed (finished a 24 month contract in IT) I'm basically not sure weather I should take the full leap or just step into getting the lower end one, but also afraid it will be money wasted and I'd want to get a full version.
I will try and keep an eye out on ebay for a decent cheap intuos I think. Now if there was only a place I could try both out :/ |

My first drawing tablet was a Trust. I strongly advice against it. It was really a pain to work with.
Then again. That was a earlier version. So it might be better by now. Still, most people tend to go with Wacom. Can't really go wrong there ![]() Try to check Ebay or a similar more local site. You can be quite lucky when it comes to tablets |

Definately agreewith Xoliul here that Wacom is the best.
Trust is the worst brand ever. I own a Wacom Intuos 3 and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Sure it is expensive but you get decent hardware that lasts. Beats buying cheap shit over and over again. |

I just bought a wacom bamboo a6 (cheaper end of the brand @ £60 new) and couldn't be happier with it.
As a tester I thought I'd do a speed paint from a reference photo I took like 6 years ago - http://tinyurl.com/lp8brm |
