Warp Gate Station

I have been working on this project for a while and thought that I would put the result in here for all to see. I got the initial idea/concept from Ramón Simmeties. Although I only followed it loosely, as the rest of the modeling and designs are all from me.

As with all large projects though, there are some things I would change. Namely, the docking ports (which are the three glass domes around the middle of the Station) where supposed to be different, but I was having problems with the mesh and just decided to scrap it.

And I am using Xoluil's Shader 2.0 (which is very nice).
Texture maps are 2048, but I scaled the pic to 1024 (didn't bother posting the asteroid texture, it's pretty simple):

Nice work!
You could make it look big by putting in a star sky behind it, maybe a planet surface in front and those things on the wheel look like they could be windows. There could be light coming out of there. That rock could also be really badass.

Nice stuff.

Thanks Kanga!

Yeah I was thinking about putting a planet or something in the background. It is supposed to be huge.
And I toyed with putting light on those ring sections, but I just decided to leave them as is since I liked the texture

Added some nebula/stars. Might add a planet or something later:
