Of course, if you make a corner only, the 2 sides shouldn't be the same wall mirrored as it's showed on Latka's explanation.

The misc sheet metal pieces scattered throughout the scene structurally don't make much sense. If a building of this construction was indeed damaged, the pieces would be missing or eroded by means of rust. (Think missing shingle tiles, not cutouts). The pieces you've modeled to express damage present edges that look splintered like wood and not bent and eroded like metal.

The large piece on the ground also has no corresponding missing piece from the roof, thus not making the connection that these elements are shared. full puzzle, missing puzzle piece, single loose puzzle piece.

Were you working from ref? Currently these materials look to be conflicting. I'd be curious to see this type of construction in a real world example.

Based of the weathered/aged look of your stones and wood; I'd suggest a roof treatment more akin to this:

I'd also suggest wood piles instead of barrels for your supporting props.

good luck.

In my opinion it's a good starts. I only miss the rocky details on it. Right now it looks like a pile of rock shaped grey objects. They probably need some scratches to hilight the individual rocks' shapes. Also, but that is just my opinion, the rock base should be wider than the house. I have the feeling that a heavier storm could push the wooden structure off its place. (It IS an invalid and unrealistic thought, but that's how it feels to me.)

But as it is, it's really nice. I have the abandoned wooden house, which was later rebuilt, then abandoned again before my eyes
