Yeah or people... I'd definitely add some blood on the blades. Of course its to heavy a weapon for the average mortal to weild.

Looks pretty nice and detailed but after much zombie or people killing wouldn't the spiky barb things become loose from the rubber splitting?
Am I a killjoy? :S

Nope, a kill joy would say that carrying a whole tire would be stupid heavy and you'd use the rim without the tire. altho if its dead rising why not add a chainsaws instead of blades?

Okay so it's been quite a while
but I'm working on this again and here's the weapon with no tire on it. ![]() My question to you is should I make the weapon with, or without the tire? And if it's without then I guess the best way to make them seem weilded is to zbrush a little hill of metal for each blade to poke into on the rim. And UV the rim all the way around with unique uvs to work on the welds in the texture.... how would you do it?

I think that they should be bolted in, maybe have a bolt go through the blade just outside and inside the tire rim so it can't slide out. But the welding sounds like a good idea too. Keep it up!

I think the highpolys finally finished and ready to bake.
I used Zbrush for my first time on the welds and the handle (duct tape/ sponge) obviously time taken isnt a concern for me on this, I'm just trying to make it the best I possibly can. Any input is greatly appreciate. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
