Well, you could make your own brush
or try this: http://st.burst.cc/eninnew.rarThere are a lot of cool brushes at that link... I hope you can find what you are looking for there.

Another good spot to get PS brushes from is Photoshop Brushes
In particular, their Grunge, Grunge 2, and Scratches brushes are really good. Just gotta be careful to change the orientation of the texture so the same brush can be used more than once. |

good to see this tutorial was well recieved
![]() here's an addition to the tut, about the brushes: Photoshop Brushes: first off..use a tablet!...if you have any interest in working in CG then a mouse just wont cut it,& once you use a tablet you'll know why The dynamics options I use with Photoshop brushes are only available if your using a tablet. if you select the 'Brush' tool, then hit F5 the brush pallete will open, this is more indepth than just selecting brushes as it will allow you to modify the shape, flow, scattering etc I've started with a default 'chalk' brush & adjusted the scattering, you have a real time view of the brush shape, just play with those dials & you'll see how easy it is to modify the brushes into something unique. ![]() |

Aye, you can also check the 'Brush tip shape' tab for some more options, and most importantly the brush rotation dial, it alows you to rotate the brush if you're not getting the effect you want when paining in a certain direction, particularly good for scratches.

if so remove the overlapping areas on the uv and re render. AO maps always need some adjustment afterwards depending on the complexity of your object. |
