i will have a look. but why do all must upload at sendspace? its a crappy site with crappy speed! I have 3mbit and my av. download is 45kbs (normal 450-500kbs)

:after some waiting I have to say its a nice made tutorial.
and I hope you upload your normal mapping tut also.

Thanks warape! Where would you suggest I upload to instead of sendspace...I'm afraid I just went with the site most used

I'll gladly upload elsewhere tho...so lemme know of some other spots...ideally without having to join anything.

Good stuff, dude. Lots of cool little bits that I didn't know (flatten mapping and copy/paste UVs).

If you find pelt mapping to be a bit akward (as I do) it's sometimes easier just to use pelt mapping to get the seams and a best fit projection but never actually do the pelt pulling (if you need seams, that is) then go to the relax dialog (Tools > Relax Dialog on the Edit UVWs window) and hammer that a few times. Seems to give much smoother results without as much fuss.
