It's the same overall time time to download in the end. Sendspace maxes out at 60 kb/s meaning it takes 3 damn hours to download anyways.

Guys, this isn't a complaints article. I know the download speeds suck but i'm afraid you don't have much choice if you watch to watch them. You are under no obligation to download these videos and to be fair a three hour download is not that long.

no, thats true...3 hours isn't long for a file of that size, but the way rapidshare works, the download takes 3 hours, and then you have to wait another 3 hours until you can start downloading the next part of the tutorial.
all im saying is stay clear of rapidshare thats all!
im happy with sendspace, gave me decent speeds and i dont have to wait before i can start the next download!

I have been using this tutorial (its awesome goodjob!) however, the 3rd modeling video isnt working for me. Ive re downloaded it about 4 times now and every time it comes up as corrupt. Any solutions? or could it be rehosted or what >_>

I have uploaded a set of rars (which have a recovery record) to FileHo.com. When i did some tests to see how fast it was i got up to 100kb/s to 600kb/s.

hey iam a noob to 3d max but iam having Fun with your videos but one thing when i right click on my background pic to Freeze Selection the pic goes black and i cant see it >< any reason why?


can anyone please help me!

Right click on the plain and go to preferences. Just untick "show frozen as grey" that should fix it.

thanks ^^ got it working hehe , anyways hmm iam useing 3ds max 6 and can not find the "Turn" tool , can anyone help me?:P

Turn? As in that button that turns the inside edge for a quad? Not sure where it is in 6 but you can always triangulate by hand be connecting the verteces you want to be connected (only where needed... and if you want a clean mesh after you create it you can remove it :P... it will still be there but you won't see it anymore... just like turn but a little more work)

Well it looks fine , just finished making it woot! lol , anyways hmm don't know why my Polygon Count is so low tho , something must be wrong I'm on 816 Poly count. still need to watch the last video .
