Great tutorials dude!

I had a look through the rest of your webby and saw you used to work at GRIN! Turns out you used to work with a fellow artist here at Black Rock. The guy is called Tomislav

Fun stuff, this one took a little wile but its very easy to see how this can be a really quick way of throwing textures together.

I'm just starting to really get into texturing and these tutorials have been a great help. Thank you very much. Here is my attempt at your rough stone tutorial.

Heya, thank you!
Nice to see some examples of yours, looking very nice!

Ah nice Stormy! Right he went over to Black Rock. Tell him hello from me please

chewsty: looks great! you got some nice depth yumyness there and the diffuse and spec look very varied and nice! It's great that you kept it from becoming busy (it's very easy to do that with such materials!).

nDo TUTORIAL

It's a pretty big tutorial on a newly released tool by a colleague of mine Teddy Bergsman called nDo. Thread here: http://www.game-artist.net/forums/fi...rce=gameartist

The tutorial includes 5 .PSDs with all layers how I constructed them using nDo for the normal maps.
Here are a couple of examples:
