Modular Tutorials - Sets in general and rocks/organics

Hi there, first post here actually.

I wrote two tutorials covering working with modular meshes.
They are not aimed for any engine in particular, and I didn't focus on the applications I use, but rather techniques I used.

This one goes in on some tips and tricks I learned when working with modular pieces before and just some of my theories on different stuff associated with modular units.

MODULAR SETS

The rock one is more step by step, but I tried to keep it somewhat general for it to work with other types of less hard surfaced models.

MODULAR ROCKS

Hope anyone will find them useful!

Great tutorials. On a side note, Ive been looking at your portfolio and I'd like to say that I loved the work you did on Bionic Commando, the environments were a treat. It is one of my favourite games this generation.

Thanks! These are really great! I've done a few projects with modular assets myself, but not much in the way of organics. I'll definitely be playing around with these later on.

Thanks a lot!

Glad you liked the Bionic Commando environments as well! One of the few who played it :P

Btw. I'm working very hard atm with a big tutorial about materials in general including 10 step by step tutorials on materials ranging from rough rocks to metal plates and brick walls. Some made with Zbrush, some Max or PS only, or a mix I also go through which materials work best to create with sculpting and best to model etc.

Btw... Just noticed my name is my mail adress :S must have been tired when setting up the account :S
Anyone know if I can change that to "PhilipK" somehow? (I guess ask a moderator otherwise...)
