Tutorial: Full Weapon Creation
I finally got around to uploading this. It's a pretty large download but contains around 7 hours of footage. This tutorial covers the complete creation of a modern weapon from start to finish. Everything is covered here including subd modeling, low poly creation, uving, baking, and texturing.
The sound isn't great but it will do. I hope you enjoy! Stuff I used: 3DS Max Photoshop 8monkey Toolbag xNormal photoshop plugins If you really like the tutorial, please consider pressing the paypal donate link on my site here. Any money helps. (5/10/10) SUPER IMPORTANT MESSAGE: This video series was originally made so I could study my own workflow and figure out what I needed to improve on. A couple friends wanted to see the videos so I quickly edited it and voiced it over in what was probably the least professional method ever. I sincerely apologize for the unprofessional nature of this series and at times the extreme annoyance of the voiceovers. Some people may still find this series useful but I should note that it's very outdated and the methods I use now are radically different from what is shown in the videos. To those who have bothered to sit through the series already, I admire your patience, perseverance, and high tolerance for annoying things. Thank you for your support. Once again these are some of my first video tutorials and I am so sorry for the complete lack of professionalism involved. If you still decide to download this, be my guest. Just remember, you have been warned. TORRENT DOWNLOAD HTTP DOWNLOAD HTTP MIRROR 1 Final result: ![]() Last edited by racer445; 16-06-2010 at 06:37 AM. |

Awesome stuff. It's like version 2.0 of Stormy's tutorials.
