May be a stupid question, but where'd you get your "funky" scripts? Some of them seem to be really useful!

EDIT: "Watch and learn from my mistakes while I eat this sandwich." Lol.

This tutorial sure is helpful! Thanks a lot man! But theres one thing that made me a little confused, where exactly did he bake the AO? Think he did around 40:00 in video 6, but i never saw him add "Ambient Occlution" to the the baking list. Not quite sure what he did...

hey racer, fan-daby-dozey tutorial you have here.I downloaded it for the texture segment and learnt a lot BUT

its all to much to take in, I'm forgetting stuff and left wondering how the hell did you do that once i see your final texture. any chance you could write down some of the weapon texture tips? like the directional scrapes, you said you were doing them, and you did them, but you never said HOW to did them :P
also what is the primary purpose of the bloby layers you worked on for so long, it looks good but i have no idea why you have 3 of them or what they represent
at 6:30 of video9_texturing.avi your admiring your work and point out some black marks. i never saw you add them. they look nice though.

of course this is just a suggestion and you have already done so much for nothing in return

Ive been working through this tutorial series myself and I've learn a ton. So far I've only done the high poly model, and my modeling skills have improved no end. Gotta thank you for that

I'm not sure if I'll have time to do the whole thing, with university starting in a couple of days. I'm glad I've got these skills brushed up in preparation though.

I appreciate people taking the time to do tutorials as i am a complete beginner but i didnt really see this as a tutorial. The other ones ive seen show every part and how to do it. This was very fast and skipped massive chunks didnt even get to see how it was done.

Well it doesn't spoon-feed you. But it shows you all the techniques required. If it shows you how to model one rivet, say, theres no need to waste video while he models the other 300 or so.
