Hey, heres my entry. I firstly grabbed some base textures for the bricks and roof and then began to paint in some details and grunge etc.., then ran the texture through crazy bump and heres the end result. I was lazy with the back of it due to being busy atm getting my portfolio sorted for my uni interview, sorry.

Hey Sover, nice house!

Basically for the AO I just put a skylight in, turned on 'cast shadows', and did a diffuse render-to-texture. It was then used as a multiply layer in photoshop so I could darken / lighten it as needed.

There are some awesome entries here, speed texturing is such a cool idea

EDIT: lol, I must be retarded or something... lol, I didn't know that the comp. was closed.. hahah.

Nice entries everyone.

This one is mine, i ran out of time tho so yeah. No spec or normal map... not even a door.
Haha, that reminds me of the time when i used to play The Sims. I would make a family and delete the door, ahah.

Anyhow, down to business.

It never hurt's to do the STC just for practice. Going back and doing all the old STC can actually be very good practice.
