I someone else here using XSI (7)? With the original file I'm getting quirky UV's and a 50% crash chance, and Sasia's edition comes out so large the clipping planes start hating.
Fixable, don't worry about that, but I'm curious if it's XSI or me messing up ![]() |

![]() Gus 84, well imo you have the most detail in there. But the boards aren't supposed to be from wood, it's plastic or aluminium i think. But the wood relief doesn't miss fit i think. Last edited by madmenno; 10-15-2008 at 08:54 AM. |

madmenno - I absolutely agree, but I wanted to play a little with the materials, and my 90 minutes was up, so I didn't have the time to make this change. And somehow, in my mind there was a picture of a car driving through it really fast and everything falls into pieces, like in movies (and the wood falls apart... classical film shot). Thats why I was thinking about this material, anyway times up. grrrrr... btw thanks for your critique.

My work:
![]() Maps: ![]() Fast steps: 1. Baking ambient. 2. Creating simple orange lines, word "out" etc, all in simple colors without detalis. 3. Adding dirt, scratches etc from textures. 4. Burn and Dodge in some parts to create contrast and improve ambient. 5. Need some rusted parts!! . 6. Desaturate all without ambient, contrast etc to create good specular. 7. Use wand to select some colors to create normalmap (nvidia plugin). 8. Create alpha. END p.s.Sorry about my english ![]() Last edited by Ardeni; 10-15-2008 at 05:45 PM. |
