Great work by everyone so far

Susia that sword looks awesome

now here is my entry

Used some Leather, Metal and Stone references for the sword then painted some extra detail into the blade and leather work. Then took the diffuse map into crazpbump for the normals took 90 mins to finish

All normal maps are done via the outdated Nvidia plugin. Crazybump is really good for organic bumpage... but technical stuff works with Nvidia really well. I could write a small tutorial if anyone is interested how I did it... It is really basic stuff, but maybe someone could learn some valuable information from it.
I understand what you mean when you say you overcritical your work, that's a bit the same here and too often, never satisfied but well I'm here to learn from everyone but sometimes it's really boring for me and even my circle sometimes.

But to be honest If I could texture as good as you do I would be happy with it at least for sometimes as I'm never satisfied

A tutorial would be welcome I think I already do that in the "right" way but I like to see the workflow of others people and often I learn useful things from it.
So if you have time, I would be grateful
