I really liked SPY's entry. What happened to the one with glowing thorns and tips that Susia mimic'd (the glow that is)? Also Sentients 1st entry was over the time limit he was just posting for tips. G'luck all

I had to go with Coridium. Feel it's a balanced piece whereas others just have a strong normal, or only a good diffuse, everything matters I'd give it to Funkdelic for creativity and Craig for presentation though...

I picked Coridium since it's a balanced piece, though the normal map gives an annoying moire effect because of the uniform shapes it has.

This was a hard choice.. in the end it wagered between Fleistad and Coridium.. but I'll have to go for Fleistad, I found the style really intresting and appealing.

Nevertheless, you've all done a good job

I shouldn't have rushed through my renders and compositing. I thought that was part of the time.. .Oh well you have to learn somehow.

There are several very nice pieces here, I had a tough time deciding who to vote for.

In the end, I voted for Coridium.
I thought everything just fit very well (the normal, the diffuse).
I really like the idea of the knots in the trunk/stem. That's a nice touch.
