Are there texture size restrictions ( 512*/ 1024* ) ?
Don't normally pay much attention to these challenges so sorry if its already been clarified. EDIT: Oh, and does editing the UV take some of the alloted time ? There's a lot of wasted space on this UV ...

Ok, so I really need to improve my texturing! I did learn a lot with this though. Not happy with many things. Some obvious seams and not happy with the stickers. Spent too much time on those and the dirt to really work on much else, hence the tap and twisty handle bit are just blocked in colours. I might come back and work on it some more, or have another fresh attempt.
Workflow: Wacked on a metal type feel with sponge. Threw on some dirt. Added the sticker layers with masks to wear them away. Dirtied it up some more and scratched it about. Made a quick 2 second spec then I ran out of time. EDIT: Forgot my maps. Scaled down from 1024 to 512.

Here we are, this was a pretty interesting one to do, the only thing I am unhappy about on mine is the tap on the top. For the method, I just laid down a base metal layer, then went over it with a solid color, layer masked with some scratch photoshop brushes, then added dirt over the top. Added in stickers/labels from reference too, and put some layer mask scratches on them.

Started with a nice base texture and used all basic photosho brushes to make it worn down etc.. Nothing too fancy here. Used crazybump for normal and spec.
